Lydney Dial-a-Ride is registered as a charitable organisation or a community transport service, operating on a not-for-profit basis.
Lydney Dial-a-Ride is governed by a board of trustees and complies with regulations set by the Charity Commission and relevant transport authorities. As a community transport provider, we operate under a Section 19 or Section 22 permit, allowing it to offer transport services for those who cannot access conventional public transport due to age, disability, or rural isolation. These permits ensure our services adheres to safety standards, driver training requirements, and vehicle maintenance regulations.
