‘On Wednesday 13th August we took a trip to Chepstow Garden Centre.
Due to the kind donation from Barchester’s Charitable Trust we were able to offer this to Dial a Ride members free of charge!
Collected from their door we took a leisurely drive to the Garden Centre where they enjoyed looking around and a well-deserved cup of tea before heading home.
Everyone had a fantastic day out and we were certainly blessed with the weather.

Another trip is happening next Wednesday 20th August 2025 for any member that is interested in joining us. Just call on 01594 843809 for more information.’
Barchester’s Charitable Foundation, also known as Barchester Healthcare Foundation, is a charitable organisation dedicated to improving the lives of older people and adults with physical, learning, or mental disabilities in England, Scotland, Wales, and Jersey. Its mission is to combat loneliness and isolation by providing grants to individuals and small community groups.
The foundation’s grants help fund practical solutions that promote independence, mobility, and a better quality of life. Grants are used for things like activity projects, day trips, specialised mobility equipment, and other resources that help people stay active and engaged in their local communities.
